This policy describes how ClearLine Guide ("we", "us") handles information when you use this website. It's short on purpose — we collect very little, and we'd like to keep it that way.
1. What we collect
- Contact form messages. When you write to us, we receive the name, email address, and message you type. We use them for one thing only: replying to you.
- Your cookie choice. The Accept or Decline decision from the cookie banner is stored in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on every page.
- Analytics, only with consent. If you click Accept, we may gather anonymous usage statistics — which guides get read, device type, approximate region — to learn what's useful. If you click Decline, no analytics cookies are set at all.
2. What we refuse to collect
We never request and never store carrier account credentials, PINs, Social Security numbers, or payment card details. Any incoming message containing such information is deleted. This website does not process payments of any kind, for anyone.
3. Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small text files your browser stores; local storage works similarly. We use these technologies for exactly two things: remembering your consent choice, and (only with consent) anonymous analytics. The full inventory is in the Cookie Policy. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
4. Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. Contact form data may pass through our email hosting provider solely so your message reaches us. Anonymous analytics may be processed by an analytics provider acting only on our instructions.
5. How long we keep things
Contact messages are retained for up to 24 months and then deleted. Your cookie preference lives in your own browser until you clear it.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live — including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act — you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. Reach us through the contact page; we respond within 30 days.
7. Children
This site is written for adults managing household expenses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Updates to this policy
When this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above changes with it, and material updates are noted on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
9. Reaching us
Privacy questions are welcome any time via the contact page.
